What is upppp all my friends!? So! I have so so many pictures from Yosemite that I just love!! And instead of trying to spread out all these amazing images throughout my Instagram (which would probably take 10 years to get through everything I want to show!) I decided I would just blog about it instead. (Which, I’ve been seriously slacking on, but I promise I’m going to try and get better at!!)
I went to Yosemite for the first time last September, for my very first workshop ever. I’m so so glad I went, for so many reasons. First of all, the workshop was insane. I learned so much from Erica + Sam, and got all the photography inspo from Melissa Marshall . Melissa is so damn good when it comes to photography, plus she’s so sweet and super down to earth. Besides the educators, I met the most amazing, wonderful people on the planet. I really felt like everyone was my family by the end of the trip, and hopefully our paths will cross again one day in the future <3
For the styled shoots, one was an engagement in the valley, and then an elopement at one of the points in the park. We went when there were fires, so unfortunately we didn’t get to hit Glacier Point. (I went again in the winter… STILL DIDN’T GET TO SEE IT BECAUSE THEY CLOSE THE ROAD. brb still crying over it. Someone book me asap so we can make some magic over there!! ahaha) But, despite all of that, and having to drive an extra hour around the park to avoid the road closures, it was honestly such an amazing experience that I’ll never forget.
