Miguel + Steph were just the complete sweetest to work with! Miguel reached out months ago to plan a surprise proposal for Steph! I was so so excited because I LOVE photographing surprise proposals! I know I dream about what it’ll be like to get engaged, so getting to see all of these amazing things happen right in front of me is just MAGIC! And I love knowing that the girl has NO idea, and they’re going to walk away from our time together in a whole new season of life. It’s just the best!
Miguel + Steph were “modeling” for a video that Leo Yokley was filming (and his new website just launched so make sure you check it out!) They went all over the city to different places that were significant to them as a couple. I joined them at Lover’s Lane to do “behind the scenes” for Leo’s new website, but really I was just there to capture the moment! Leo set Miguel + Steph up facing away from their families, and he was trying to frame them up and get the focus. While he was getting that shot, their families came down the path and set up the signs! Leo told them never mind for the shot he was working on, and then just told them to look over to the side. That’s when Steph saw the Marry Me sign, and Miguel got down on one knee! You know the rest (; And of course she said yes!!!! There were lots of tears, hugs, and love happening alll over the place.
I loved being a part of this moment so much, thank you guys again for having me along to capture your day!! <3 We did an engagement session a few days after, and I cannot wait to share it with you all!
